That is the question!

Just dipped a few corals while carrying out a weekly water change as I had noticed a couple of "white" areas on 2 of my corals.
To my amazement they were badly infested with the dreaded AEFW :birthday:

What has surprised me is that I have not added any corals, frags or gravel to the tank for well over 3 months and I had previously subjected all corals to a dipping programme some months ago and all seemed fine and pest free.

So where have they come from??? :unknow:

Do the eggs lie dormant until tank conditions are at an optimum for them to hatch and thrive?

Dip them Trev, not sure if they can lie dormant but it is possible because i have come across monty eating nudis that have suddenly appeared some 12 months after the last coral was added which begs the question, where did they come from?.
