has anyone had flu lately i've had it for 5 days now and it's nocking me out every day
difficult to no the difference between flu and swine flu

swine flu usually includes D and V i think, but it varies for everyone

Back before the summer, I was knocked down with something that I can only presume was s.f., had all the symptons and was out of it for over a week. Generally, I don't suffer more than a day with anything, but this was different. Sweat it out, thats what works for me.
Get well soon and when you get back to work I need to think about a copperband.

As sorry as i am to hear your poorly again mate, as a nurse, it sounds like a bad case of man flu!
Have you got a fever (over 38 degrees)? That is the main symptom but D+V, headache, Tiredness are all others.
You'll be fine if you just ride it out. Same with normal flu, nothing helps and as for tamiflu not much point now that you've been poorly for 5 days as all it does is shorten the time of illness. Swine flu normally wipes people out for weeks and from my experience they have been so weak they cant even get out of bed for a few days!!
