acrylic weir plate

I need to make an acrylic weir cover for overflow, i was wondering what the best way to make this would be, i have never had much luck working in acrylic before. Or does anyone know anyone that can make them?

I'm assuming it's not just a simple flat piece of acrylic, can you describe or sketch the sort of thing you are after? Try out google sketchup.

I am after a flat piece 50cm long with 3cm high teeth 0.5cm apart and a triangle piece 12cm of teeth 0.5cm apart that i can then silicon onto the glass weir
