Any one run an eheim compact?

I am thinking of a 3000, may push to a 5 but not sure.

I'm trying to establish if they are much nosier if run out of the tank rather than in as my return compartment is quite small and has the skimmer sat in it, pumps tend to vibrate against it so would rather run the pump dry
I suggest a change of plan... Let the wookie win

Check out www.Reefpark.net if you have a minute

i run a 3000 dave...it's silent! it is in the water though...i would be suprised if you can't fit it in, these things are quite small :) and come on suckers...but yes dead silent, the ONLY hum i get from my tank is the OR2500 for the skimmer

get one
