:) Where did you stay? I've been to Egypt twice. Both times staying at Taba Heights. Saw some amazing fish so close to the beach.

Rach.

Yet more cracking shots. Some of those corals look a bit brown though. Did you test for Phosphates?

One day, it will be my turn, but not until ive sussed this frag smuggling business.

hi dave
for most of the shallow pics i was using a canon D10 for the deeper ones i used a canon ixus in a waterproof housing using a canon D10.
none of these photos have been photo shopped they are straight off the card.

hi tiberboy
it is amazing to see the fish and corals in their natural environment. it took a while to get used to be completely surrounded by huge shoals of fish with larger fish prowling below you !!!!!

Good chatting on the Phone the other day Drew and glad you had a great time m8 .Pictures are stunning ,if you have more please add them as you know we are all suckers for some good AAA grede reef porn :)
I'm off to a Different island this year ,have narrowed it down to 3 island now so will post up when i have made me mind up .

Luke are you going to Kuramathi,if so your in for a treat m8 ,,,,remember plenty of pics .
I think no matter what camera you have its always better to have a spare battery and a few cards as spare ,this way you can click away to the hearts content and sort the not so good from the good at own leisure .

Have a good one Luke and remember to pm me day before you want the unit and corals sent up .

Jas

Jason, have you thought about Hakura Hura down south? Dont know how that fits in budget wise but nice island and the diving is great, and I've a few places.

I'm going to Marsa Alam in Egypt in March. Diving is meant to be great - and the Red Sea is hard to beat for colour. Andat Marsa has the big stuff too. Looking forward to Oceanic White tips and dolphin. Always wanted to dive with dolphin.
