I am looking to obtain one of these fish. Can anyone help?

I know they are expensive and rare, and most go to Japan.

If anyone can help, please get in touch.

Thanks!

I have one myself.I will keep an eye out for you.I dont know of any being available other than mine lately but who knows what people bring in.If you are prepared to spend the money on a fish you wont see half the time then go for it.They are stunning and well worth it imo.

Good luck!

Cheers Dave.

It'd be kept in a dedicated NPS system, most likely with a jawfish so hopefully should be ok. I know they are quite shy, but in a quiet tank I hope to get the most out of it.

Is yours in an open top aquarium?

Haha... Yeah it would be a pretty distressing event wouldn't it?

The new tank is open top but I might have to review this if I get one...

Just dont do an open top tank with this kind of fish. They are such a rare gem. There are quite a few options for sealing the top of a tank as im sure you know :)

Aye, thinking of doing something with acrylic. I seriously doubt I'll be getting one of these fish so I won't be getting my hopes up put it that way.
