haha! just what i thought when i read that bit

talk about "bought not built"...as said i bet he couldn't name half of what's in there or explain much if any of the system...i bet he will get bored with that eventually...

and at 100grand, i bet he paid well over the odds for that...i mean it's not like it's full or really expensive SPS and LPS??

nice but not even close to any of my favourite tanks

hmm :funky:
anyone want coral safe, aiptasia eating nudibranc's (berghia) from one of the UK's only breeders? PM me for details

I think the 2 main questions are has he joined International Reefers yet, if not, why not?

Has he got any corals from Jason's Aquatics in there, if not why not?

Although I suppose he's too busy kicking that bag of wind about they call a football !! :o

100k? Looks like a tank that cold be set up for under 6k no it really does, Good on the man who has fleeced the overpayed footballer who ive never heard of, He obviously has more money than sense and no idea where his money has gone.

They should rename this tank the greatest tank scam ever, Evidently he's been had good and proper

Very nice, i'm quite sure the tank alone would probably be more like 6k, but like you say 100k is a total joke!

I think that link points to a marketing company that has made some video of the tank on behalf of the actual installation company. Pretty nice footage but I notice there are no reef shots in the still section.

I bet he does, ..... Somebody mentioned jealously? .. Isnt that mistaken too often for grass rooted hobbysists on a budget trying to compete in a rather expensize hobby, Gimme a nano any day run by somebody that has grass rooted passion rather than a overflated bank account.

Just taking a look at some threads on UR , it plainly shows money does not buy a great reef tank. anyone can spend X amount on pumps and yet achieve very little in the long run, It may impress a few but not me....

You can chuck 100k for a day but will it be there in 12 months?

The main purpose of this article is about the total amount spent on the tank, That to me deters from the hobby in general, Its not about the money at all, But it appeares so in this write up, Nice tank but its not worthy of a paper riddden write up, It only gloryfies how much footballers earn.
and nothing more no doubt a quick fix for a editor.

Small tanks dont sell papers or win totm , Well they do when we complain about the lack of them in the aquarist media :) ....

Its a money driven hobby where what you earn and can afford will often previal over what you have learnt and experienced, that never gets recognition, it may do in some small print ;)
