here are what pics i managed to get when i went to the maldives last week...half way through the holiday my underwater camera decided to leak so i didn't manage to get pics of the sharks i swam with the NEXT DAY...gutted but they are alright

Cant view them m8 as i dont have a face book account ,

have you got photo bucket to upload them to and add them to the forum that way

Some cracking photos there Luke.

If you make the album public, those who don't have facebook can see them.

I cant view the pic Luke ,,ask slappy how to make the album public m8 ,,

Drew we are off again this year but this time we are going to velidhu as going by Si Gs article the reef is one not to miss .25th september roll on lol

as per jason really mate...i would go again to kuramathi, i couldn't fault it at ALL! but i would be equally happy to try velidhu...im thinking the red sea is on the cards when my dad gets out though :cool3:

HI Jas
Thats where we are looking at for xmas this year, looks fantastic.
My sister got back a couple of weeks ago said the reef was amazing although a lot of people were put off by the triggers attacking everyone.
One couple that were took on a snorkel tour with a group ended up with a nasty bite each.
In the red sea the villain that even the dive school were wary of was Balisoides Viridescens (giant trigger). The one in the photo below was about 75cms and was well known on the reef but was only dangerous during june/july

that's ok mate, funny you should put that...there was a trigger in the maldives on the house reef that looked like that...apparently it was called a "titan trigger"...similar size...i was swimming with one...could see his teeth and everything...apparently they are ok until u "invade" their territory then they will have a go
