Well, I got part of it under the tank no problem....

... but I'm not sure about the rest.....

It is a little larger than I envisaged, it's so big it's difficult to portray the size in a photo, maybe this one with the V2 1000 next to it might help...

It definitely won't go in the sump cupboard, but I have a plan, it's called the neighbours garage :)

Heck, Ben could use it as a nano, stick some LED's over it, live rock in the bottom and away you go!

So, anybody want a Deltec 850 ??

I bet you have got Lindsay wondering about modding one into a Calcium reactor now!

Be interesting to see when you connect it to the system how much extra water you need to add
I suggest a change of plan... Let the wookie win

Check out www.Reefpark.net if you have a minute

I think I worked it out to require about an extra 40-something litres.

When I do a water change at the weekend, I'm going to put the old water into it just to see the bubbles! Might leave it run for a day to see what it does.

Very pleased with the skimmer, the wife even commented last night that she thought the tank looked clearer, not noticed it myself tho. The old 850 is now decommisioned along with the V2 1000 that had been hanging on the end of the tank for the last few months. The only problem I've had was when I went to clean the cup, it barely fits in the kitchen sink!!!
