Hi - Unfortunately Plymouth and the surrounding areas suffer from a dearth of decent LFS's. There nothing really worth recommending. I live in Plymouth and consider my LFS's to be Jason's and TAC.

I've got some nice frags though!

Haha, after seeing your tank, can safely say you're not lying there mate :P

Am I correct in saying that TAC = Taunton Aquarium Centre? If so, then I'd agree, of all the shops I've been to in devon/cornwall Jason and TAC are the best by far!

HI i'd have to agree with quiggs, jasons is tops for knowledge & advice and their range of sps /lps is something else just take a flask with you as they're a bit tight on the refreshments ;) :P ;) .
the only other place i use is homeleigh garden centre at launceston, they have a range of corals/ fish & dry goods ( Deltec/ tmc agent).
hope this helps
cheers

hi graham

it's doing well, thanks! Had to split it into a few reasonable sized pieces in the end as there was no decent placement available! A few pieces went to Jason and a few have been placed in different places around the tank to see what difference I can get in colour. Got a nice variety of shades of green. Thanks again for holding that for me - was good to have a chat and see your tank too!

Agree strongly with Ben, Jason's is definately worth a visit, allow a few hours or even half a day as well.

the closest to your destination to have a look at would be HomeleighGarden Centre at Launceston - just across the A30 from where you are going. Good for hardware and the occassional little gem of a coral, but for choice, quality and price have a day out in deepest darkest Cornwall and pop into Jasons. On the way home Taunton is a good stopping off point for a look- I have to admit there is the biggest selection of tdifferent ypes of coral here than I've seen under one roof but nothing is priced which I find offputting as the price seems to vary depending on all sorts of unknown factors!!!!

Talk about excessive non-sponsor discussion!

Have a good trip wherever you end up.
