OK, I hate Apple, I hate everything about them, their smugness, their overpriced under-powered hardware, their secrecy, their loyal fanboys, their suppression of freedom of speach, their 'thou shalt do everything ourway' attitude, the restrictions and requirements they impose in both functionality and hardware and on the developer community, their greedy patents, their bloated resource hungry software, their insistence on not following 'accepted' standards, the hype, the way they assume users have the mental capacity of a six year old, I hate them for what it says about buying into the Apple 'lifestyle' - arghh!!!!

YES I'M PC AND PROUD OF IT!








Today at work we got our new mobile phones...







I'm not sure I can bring myself to open it, I feel I would be selling myself out. Yes, I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would lovingly accept a free iPhone from work, but thats one of the very reasons I hate Apple.

ill happily swap it for an unused HTC Diamond, so you experience all the wonderful peculiarities of windows mobile.

Dont open it, and certainly dont use it, theres a great danger you may like it.

I would never own a mac, but the iphone is simply fantastic. You could always jailbreak it, then you could enjoy ripping apple off.

Been there, done that. It may have it's peculiarities, but at least it doesn't insist on me downloading 100Mb of iTunes to activate it before I can use it.

As a product, for what it is and what it does, yes it is, I'm happy to admit that.

Yeah but if the AMD (Apple Mobile Device) manager suddenly doesn't want to play ball it becomes a nightmare as I can't sync my contacts etc atm on my iphone


Other than iTunes being crap and resource hungry for what it is, the phone itself isn't all that bad.
