I want to remove a reinforced concrete post, can't dig it out, so what to cut it with? I've got a disc cutter, which I presume I can use with the right disc, but what sort of disc?

Think I'm right in saying the stone disc/diamond cutter won't do steel and vise versa.Prevoiusly I've wacked out a post with sledge and cut the steels with appropriate steel blade. Depends on A. size of post B. size of arms..... I hope A is smaller than B ;)

Needless to say if you want a hand .........

go to warrior in tuckingmill and get a few cheap stone disks, they will cut the metal rods inside, just a bit slower than a metal cutting disk.

becareful the disks dont get wedged in the cuts, so get someone to pull the post away from the cut

Being a groundworker, i would use the diamond disk to cut the post because a metal cutting disk wont cut the concrete very well as where the diamond disk will and it will also cut through the metal inside. Ive used it when cutting concrete lintels and cutting concrete floors with reinforced mesh in, so i wouldn't worry about getting a metal cutting disk mate.
