what thickness do you use under your tanks , and do u put it just on the corners ??

used 25mm stuff on mine
complete size of tank
48"x36"x24" main tank 45"x26"x 26" sump
laguna 7500 return pump, ocean runner 6500
tunze ts 24 kit
Grotech hea 250 skimmer, deltec 601 calcium reactor tmc, controller-monitor
deltec fr509 reactor
2x 400 watt luminarc 10 k 2x 54 ati actinic , sanders 200 mg ozone . orp controller
ro auto top up & ball valve sp3000 kit

ive used various thicknesses, but always the whole base of the tank

hi Dylan - i now use that dense flexible foam that comes as camping bed rolls - got black under the new tank way smarter than white polystyrene, doesn't crumble either, and takes the pressure way better.
KEEP A FEW TRUE STARFISH, SAVE THEM FROM BEING DRIED OUT FOR TOURISTS

Wooden flooring underlay......very thin, designed to take weight and doesnt crumble or absorb water.

1" polystyrene covered the entire base of the tank.

MacSalvors carry them in stock if you need any.

I was told by a guy who makes tanks that the thinner the better as long as the polystyrene takes up any uneven areas in the base the tank is sitting on .
