i have a river reef nano tank with a closed lid. should i be worried about keeping the ph levels up above 8?

the readings i get seem to be below 8 and im guessing its due to the closed lid stopping good gas exchange.

cal mag and kh all good mate ?? i'll check the ph of mine tomorrow mate i saw an awesome tank the other day where the ph goes from 7,8 to 8,2 i wouldnt worry to much
