blue throat trigger male or female

Hi need some help , what is i male or female. Seems to me half and half , it has a yellow tail
with a little bit of blue on throat . what's your thoughts guys cheers Paul

Hi PT1000, this was my male blue throat trigger before i changed tanks over. He has loads of yellow on his fins and tail

Which is making me think you have got a female. What was it sold to you as?

looks like a female to me not so pronoucned blue throat

Cheers Joey & Dylan Would the colours be more pronouced in a older fish it is only 2 1/2 inches ,what age and size where yours Joey

I am not to sure if they get more colour as they age but mine was about 4ins, was it sold as a male or female?

Brought as a male but i think it is female, I am looking to pair it up . Your's were obout 4in ,plus do the colours come out more when they are a pair and bigger ?

Would be great as a pair mate, again not sure about the colours but Dylan might shed some light on that for you as he works in an LFS

Took it back today to LFS , they could not make there minds up either. I think it must be a him she just can't make it's mind upLOL :)
Anyway the fish shop have taken it , and we have purchased a pair . Which you can defo tell the difference between the two like
