Hi guys wondered if any of you who are or have tried using the microbacter7 have come across this. I started using the micorbacter7 about a month ago. I am not using the neozeo media though (which maybe the reason). anyhow i have found that my calcium reactor has furred up with some sort of bacterial growth since i started using the microbacter7. now i know with the media if i was using it, needs to be stirred it up with stronger flow every 3 to 4 days. Im wondering that because the flow in the calcium reactor is constant the bacteria colony has hosted that media in this way. Do you think that if I was using the media I would still have the problem in my calcium reactor?
I have also noticed that there is a bit or a black film of some type of alges on some of the rocks. Any comments or thoughts are welcome.

I don't use a lot of mb, but go thru phases of using it, I've recently finished a 250ml bottle over three weeks and it is not something I have noticed.

Nope, just squirting it in. Like I say, I'm not using it as part of any regime.

Sometimes I measure out 20ml other times I just give a good squirt. I go thru phases of doing it every day for a couple of weeks until the bottle runs out then it may be several months before I get another one
Don't know if that helps much!
