What seems to be the best reactor and pump , for the use with the biopellets.
Thanks Paul

I've seen a couple of tanks with the new TMC v2 Fluidised reactors, one tank had a Berlin fluidised reactor and one had an Ocean LifeGard FB300 fluidised reactor running the stuff.
So it seems any fluidised reactor will do the job as long as the pump is right for it.

i use the phosban 550 for biopellets with an eheim 3000 but wouldn't buy again, the pipework doesn't allow enough flow for my liking. Also using a deltec 509 reactor for rowaphos which has larger pipework. plan is to swap them over so the biopellets are in the deltec.
I DON'T KEEP CLAMS I KEEP WATER !!!

I was using a reactor with the 9mm piping and it was useless in getting the pellets to fluidise! Ive now converted an old Ratz stirrer using 1/2" hosetails and pipework with an Eheim 2000 and the fluidising affect is quite fierce and thats with using a sponge base which I plan to change out as soon as i can find some perforated plastic plate.
All Im saying is, very much like Drew, is make sure it has a decent size pipework to allow the flow through the reactor. HTH
