Short Arm Xenia Needs To Die

What started as a small clump of Xenia (the small variety) has now started to take over the tank.
Has anyone got any ideas how to knock off the stuff.Unfortunetly I can't just remove the affected rocks as they all have other corals on them.I've tried Calcuim hydroxide but it comes back after a few days.
I dont mind chemical or natural predation,as long as it goes!!
Thanks
Martin

does it pulse martin, if so can i have some please?
it can be a pain to get rid of to be honest, and even covering it up doesnt always stop it. most people just remove the rocks its on.
cheers

your welcome to the f----n stuff Ben. ironically Penny loves it and i've chucked some in her tank, where it doesnt do so well.Guess thats because its under a 250MH as opposed to my 400's.
its crept onto the same rocks as my acro's which is why I need to be careful with its demise.

Hi Ben
No.
Seems to be too busy multiplying.
Got most of it out last night and put it in my sump.
I'm assuming it'll die off as its in the dark part.

yeh i would imagine it would die in the dark, but any tiny frag left will quickly grow again. you could try and cover tiny bits with milliput to see if that stops it.
if it does'nt pulse then ill leave it thanks m8, sorry, lol
