i have a few tufts and the sea hare and urchins eat round it (i have 2 tuxedos and a spiny one and they prefer eating everything else), it must taste really bad. I've stuck corals over the top of it and that has done a really good job!! seriously, 2 big torches, 3 chunks of zoas and adncan have totally shaded out and killed it off.

you could consider letting nicer looking macro algaes establish so they outcompete it, ones that are then easier to harvest

Hi m8,yeah its a bit of a pain, not to date found much that will eat it,in the past i found that best way was to remove it as fast as possible but without spreading bits in the tank as this will spread it,as said above,a very good way is to cover it,block out the light which will kill it off.

I removed the rock and put it into a QT tank running very high levels of magnesium, over time it killed it off and to date, not been back since.
