Has a good mix of fish in this system and is not overly worried about angels in the tank with the sps

May start to look into a few angels in the stock tanks as they are a graceful fish

One question i do have is do you guys think we do panic a little to much when it comes to fish selection in our reef tanks ?

You could say there is always going to be a risk factor, but this could be down to a fish getting hungry.Take the Rabbit fish, they are good with corals until they get hungry which can happen if algae runs out in the tank, like many Tangs they need to do a great deal of grazing.

there are probably a lot of fish we could have with a risk but the main problem is catching them if they do become trouble. i guess it depends on how much you want the fish, and what type of filtration you have to cope with the extra feeding.

I Agree Ben ,,i think worth the risk TBH as it makes for a tank off the norm

I think once your tank is settled and fairly grown out putting a few fish in that may nip is not a problem - chances are you wont notice what they ae nipping anyway if the corals are large. My copperband nips acans, favia and trachy tenticles if its hungry - but it also eats all the aips - and it seems to go in phases on the acans, leaving them for weeks then only nipping a certain colour??.

I fed my majestic a lot, he pecked my corals a lot! He now lives in his own tank, hopefully to have freinds soon.
