I know a lot of members here are local, wondered if any of you are going to any of this summer's Eden Project Sessions? At the moment, I'm only going to the one with Mumford and Sons playing, but hopefully I'll be going to Vampire Weekend's one too, if i can find a way of getting there...

I've been to Eden for Primal Scream, Ian Brown, keene and badly drawn boy. This years lineup didn't get the excitement up i'm affraid......I would like Duffy there, Florence & the machine, and Joan Armatrading.
Mandy and I went to Glasgow last year for U2, that was awesome.....we queued, ran like nutters down the tunnel and pitch and got into the front bit, only 2 people in front of us. Long drive home tho!!

saw muse and oasis down there and i think florence played either last year or the year before.
fantastic place for a gig but unfortunately over priced when compared to plymouth pavillions, also it was less money to go to birmingham nia for muse than eden, shame as its right on the doorstep.

Yes, totally agree that eden have got the price very wrong - way too expensive. the early ones were instant sell outs because of novelty value (and they were about £26). i think it went to their heads and they have overpriced themselves. Its why the sessions arent sold out very often now.

Haha, most of the gigs I go to are in tiny clubs where tickets rarely break the £10 mark, but the idea of Eden Sessions for a concert seems pretty cool. Just bought my ticket for Vampire Weekend (came in at around £40
), which is the day after my last GCSE and I'm going with a few mates so should be a good time.
Most of the shows I go to seem to be in Bristol, they get much more music-wise than we do (understandably), I'm just lucky to have a dad who enjoys the music and is willing to take me!

No, come on Jas, he can't be too old.......there's that little tent village at Glasto where all the old beardies drink real ale, bang bits of wood together and do folk music, with the row of commode tents instead of the portaloos
