Hi all, i was just wondering if i could use some old sand from an old dsb to save a bit of money and would be a shame to waste it. What are your thoughts about this and how would i go about washing it (pressure washer and boiling water loads of times?)
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Joey

For the sake of £20 Joey, get a new sack mate.
I wouldn't take the risk.

like slappy says for the sake of a few quid get some new because putting old or used sand into your system could give you a spike that could wipe out your tank so its not worth the risk mate

Definitely don't re use it, you might be able to wash it but you won't get out what it's soaked up and a few months down the line you'll be cursing.

When I got rid of my deep sand bucket the other day there was two of the big bags of sand that was as clean as the day it went in, felt awful dumping it and then buying another for the cheato tanks.
