Tank chemistry.

Hi all,just a quick post to say to keep an eye on your dkh,cal,mg and sg levels,with higher temperatures because of the nice weather,you may find that if you do not run a chiller and the tank temp rises then so will the metabolic rate of the tank,ie coral growth and take up of minerals,evaporation will also go up.

Also keep a check on your charcoal and lager levels :P

Personally, I'm a gas and cider man, but each to their own I guess.

And yes, Lindsay is right, tho so far my tank hasn't exceded it's normal 26.8.

Wish I'd spent an hour and a half on tank maintennance instead of watching that england pub team :P

Yeah point well made Linds, noticed I'm having to fill my auto top-up more regularly which means my SG will be falling slowly as the top-up is only RO with no additives.

Must remember to bung a bit extra salt in on the next water change.
