I noticed the water level kept going up to the brace bars in my tank, so took the egg crate off the top of the weir to clean it although not very dirty, then I noticed something green over one of the pipes and pulled this lot out

Funny thing is I've hardly any in the tank, although my Lipstick Tang likes them when they're floating around.

Glad I had 2 pipes down to the sump or I could have had a wet floor ;)

Spookily enough I had a crab stuck down my wier pipe yesterday. Water everywhere and a stripped Sequence impellor!

Tisk tisk. I would have made room in my fuge if i had a tank. What better than localised nuisance algae for nutrient export ;)
