Some great information too.
I posted the same thing on you are. 14 views and no comments. I reckon if it was 100's of photos of a lionfish from snorkeling sharm or the maldives there would have been pages of comments.

In 2005 a British guy that worked as a guide on a liveaboard dive boat decided to have a change of lifestyle.
With agreement with the owners of one of the islands he set up an Eco dive site including a 77 square mile no take zone.
This is the Andrew Miners website for his resort, for great reef porn watch the resorts promotion video http://www.misoolecoresort.com/
The villagers now work in the tiny resort and are trained as rangers to police the no take zone. There are now plans to link up other no take zones to create a 463 square mile marine protected area.
This has got to be a good for the region as a breeding site to allow plundered stocks to recover and to stop the live catches of fish like Napoleon wrasse that end up in restaurant fish tanks waiting for the punters to pick out their dinner !!!!!.
watch this if your feeling brave, made me mad as hell.

I did watch it, made me mad also, it makes my blood boil the way they treat animals in general, that's difference between our cultures, maybe we are too emotionally attached even to those we eat. Animals/fish deserve respect whether we eat them or not and treated humanely.

I'm really excited. Although not looking forward to the journey and haven't got my third and final flight sorted yet either.
