Kalk - anyone stiil use it

I bought some a while back and didn't use it as I read a lot of bad things could happen if overdosed etc.

Last night, I got the courage and made a kalk slurry and poured it in - my ph shot up :wacko: for a few seconds and then dropped to 7.9 (where I started), currently at 8.0


Anyone else still using kalk?

Only for killing unwanted mushies etc.
