Hi all

Was thinking of running carbon, and have a old phosphate reactor that I was going to use. Is it okay to use it in a reactor, or is it be better to just put it in a sock under good flow in my sump?

Cheers

I would use the reactor if it was me, just my opinion, have you got phosphate remover running because some carbon can leach phosphates.

Have got a phosphate reactor running. Was told the best thing to do before using the carbon was to soak it in RO water for 24hrs as this would get rid of any phosphate. Does anyone using carbon do this?

cheers
