Anyone got any ideas on the compatibility of Majestic angels and Bicolours? I have a Majestic in my fish only and he's a bit lonely. I want to put fish in this tank that I wouldn't keep in my reef and I've always wanted a bicolour so would like to put them together. They are quiet different colours but fairly similar shape. My majestic is still small so they would be about the same size.

Cheers

well it'sEuxiphipops always gunna be a bit of a gamble but one i'd probally risk the majsetic are from the Euxiphipops family which are fairly peacefull, i dont see the bicolour being to nasty but who's to say, the first 48 hours might be a bit dodgy but im sure things would settle down , it just depends on the individual fish, i once saw a 180 litre tank with 4 dwarf angels in it which is normally a no goer, wayne shang has a tank full of angels , you can but try these things

Majestics soon get bored with chasing things they can't catch, and are only really programmed to attack other magestic angels of the same colour phase and maturity with any vigour. should be ok after a day or two after it realises they are different species, just keep an eye out until then :D

Thanks Tom,
What about the two bi-colours? I've read they are likely to kill each other unless a mated pair?

bicolours are one of the easiest to pair and sex,

Males are longer and have more pointed fins, females shorter and ever so slightly duller

Thanks Tom. Seriously thinking about getting a couple of them.
Andrew, I would love your Emperor but a bit difficult to get it over here!
Thanks
