Is it common for a large hermit to get nasty with other hermits and snails ?.
Iv been keeping an eye on him the last few hours and he has even had a go at some soft corals.
Hes in the sump now (glad I made that). Is this kind of behavour common.

Also one of my cleaner shrimp seems to have ADHD.
Its constantly trying to clean everything (a bit like my mum).
I cant put my hand in the tank without it cleaning me.
The fish are positively sparkling and the xenia is getting pee'd off with him cleaning it.
I always seem to get the weird ones, even my dog is paranoid about the hoover, next doors cat,the fence, birds and paper bags :D

Do you have any spare shells for the hermit? The hermit may want to move to another shell and if there are no spare shells, then it will find one, sometimes by force.

The cleaner shrimp is doing what's in his job description, clean. That's perfectly normal.

Your LFS may have some in stock, failing that, try the tourist shops that sells shells or ebay.

Not sure what area you are in but I collected some nice shells off the local beaches.
