Tom
I got a fish with pop eye. Only one eye is affected. Fish feeding well and otherwise fine. I think it was caused by bad water quality that has now been sorted out. started with cloudy eye but it has tonight started to pop out. Will it run its course and go back to normal now that water quality is now back up to sratch or do I need to intervene with medication?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Jeff

It's either flukes or physical damage, the first being more likely considering the cloudiness. Keep a close eye out for further victims for now is the best option

No other fish has gone down with it, all other eye's are nice and bright.
The fish with the bad eye has not got any worse but no better either. The bad eye is bulging but not massively. The eye looks twice the size of what it should be but thats more circumference than bulging. The eye is opaque looking and appears fluffy on the outside. Still feeding well but clearly cant see out of the eye at the moment.
Should I still do nothing as it's not getting any worse or is it time to do something?

Oh well. I'll see what happens then. I have a feeling he will go blind but otherwise be fine.
Thanks for your help.
