For all you smokers,of which i was one,be aware the E Cig is here and here to stay, much healthier and cheaper to use.
Despite governments and Tobacco company's best efforts to find a way of banning the E Cig,to date both not being able to,the E Cig is growing in popularity.Perhaps Tobaccos day is coming to an end..

Your welcome m8,good luck with the e cig.For me the e cig is all that stands between me and standard cigarettes,i think i will always use an e cig but my next step is to half my nicotine intake and in the end vape some flavors that do not have any nicotine in them and use the nicotine when i feel i need to.

Hi Pat
Google "the electronic cigarette company" and have a look at the screwdriver.

Mike I think its only a matter of time before some kind of legislation is implamented.
The e-liquid has enough nicotine in it to kill you if swallowed !.
I did find the report in the link you gave a bit funny. They complained about finding a carcinogen in the e-liquid but there are around 70-90 carcinogens and poisons in tobacco :help:
Still,it would be nice to know the stuff Im inhaling was safe.

There has been many articles about the dangers of e cigs, mostly by cigarette companies or governments, that said i read an advert for an e cig in the sun newspaper 4 days ago that is backed by a uk cancer research organization, and heard that e cig may be on the shelves of a major high street retailer soon.Another thing i was told the other day is that cancer research is funded to a large extent by tobacco companies, who stand to loose a fortune if the e cig takes off.

Iv just been reading a couple of reports on e-cigs and got these numbers...
There is only 1 carcinogen found in e-cigs so far and its at a level 1400 times lower than found in some normal cigarettes.
Its also less likely to enter the lungs than in a normal cigarette due to the lower temperatures created in an e-cig.
There are also 10000 other chemicals in normal cigarettes and most are harmful and 56 carcinogens ! :o ouch

Iv been on the e-cig since midday yesterday after 30 years of heavy smoking and I had a puff on the misses fag last night and it tasted horrible.
I had the puff just to compare the flavour and it made me feel sick.
I havent had any craveing thanks to the e-cig and I will never smoke a normal fag ever again ;)
Thanks to Jason and Lindsay for introducing me to the e-cig :help:

This makes good reading....

Dont be sorry, its always worth posting these things up.

Just a few questions worth asking though, when you read these things.

Why havnt the FDA published figures.
why worry about schoolkids using them, when you cant even smoke pot in em. They need to revisit why schoolkids start smoking.
A balanced reply would be to assess whether or not Vaping is a real step forward or backward from tobacco.
How many politicians in america have a large financial interest in the tobacco growing industry.
Oh, and dont forget....Burnt toast is also a carcinogen.....fact.
