Hi All
Just a few pics to show how my tanks comming on.
Its only 5 or 6 weeks old and moving way too fast (thanks to the wife)
Its 3' X 2' X 20" and 250ltr with a tiny 35cm X 30cm X 50cm sump which will be upgraded later in the year when I get round to knocking out the centre
divider in my cabinate.
In the sump is a deltec mce600 a 400w heater a eheim compact 3000 pump, several 4w sumbmersable lights and a refugium with sand, live rock and algae
Its a very tight squeeze in there.
I hope you like the pictures.
Any comments suggestions most welcome.

Si

Hi Andy
Thanks for the day out on Sunday I realy enjoyed it and learnt loads.
I will be changing the heating to two 150w heaters as you suggested.
I would have done it yesterday but I got the eheim compact 3000 instead and now Im skint :smoke:

Cheers

Looks good, what lights are over the tank?,its a good idea to upgrade the sump at a later date,it will give you more volume and room.

Hi Lindsay
The lights are 1 X 150w 14k halide and my home made led down lights with 2 X 2w 24 led gu10 bulbs...sorry lamps :D
As per our chat last Sunday,as soon as I can pluck up the courage I will be removing the center partition and fitting a 2.5' sump.

Thanks guy's.Unfortunately the tank wont be with us much longer.
We have both decided that as we cant have the fish we want due to the tank being too small we are going to get a 4'X2'X2' as soon as we can afford one.
Then its bigger pumps,a new sump, more lights blah blah blah...more expence :D

Thats a good size tank,a 4 by 2 will give you a lot more scope to enjoy the hobby.

Im going to give Andy a shout later and see if I can take the misses round to see his tank.
Once she has seen what you can put in a bigger tank I know she wont mind. :D
