Hi m8,as said above the corals look to be doing very well, that purple monty normally encrusts as it grows and as you have said it is a slower grower but as it increases in size it may pick up its growth speed a little,i have seen it plate out as yours appears to be doing which is good as it prefers to encrust rather than plate, stunning coral m8.

Well,
Whats happened,
I am sooo busy now a days with my new job (BT Openreach) I hardly see my tank. Im away every other week and so maintanance is a real pain. I did put the whole tank up for sale, as complete, but ended up selling most the fish seperate and then had the usual of people looking for an ebay bargain. Its such a shame, and I am in two minds.

I am saving for a house and do feel it would be a good idea to sell this setup and start again, when i have my own place, and go for something with more room, like a 3x3x3, i love the cubes!!! but then i think of how much work i put into this, and how far it has come from tiny little frags, and all the help and advice i recieved along the way, then to go without a tank would be a real hardship.
but the tank dimensions are really starting to get to me.. my corals are just outgrowing this tank and i hate to break the corals up.. everytime i clean my glass my seriatopra, montis, and hysterix get broken.

well, my dilema will continue, :)

here are some pics taken today

Hi m8,they say,the smaller the tank the harder it is to keep stable and do well keeping corals esp sps,if its a case of a bigger tank in the future ime sure looking at the progress you have made with this tank it will be another great tank, well done m8.

Ooh big thinning out session gone on in there, lol
If you wanna get rid of any of that purple monti give me a shout.

Being able to keep corals like yours and grown them from frags is an achievement in a smaller tank.

I've found there are quite a few things you can upgrade to to make life so much easier and I've found my GHL has given me remote access to my system while I'm away.

Sorry I will always try and persuade anybody to stay with it, and a new system is always something good to sink your teeth into.
