Hi could some one confirm this coral... I believe it to be a Duncanopsammia axifuga.. aka whisker or daisy coral. After getting this coral some 8 months ago I added a leather coral and now it will not open :( so I decided to once and for all ID it :D Any help appreciated.. Hi m8

Agree with Dave ,, Duncanopsammia axifuga and a very nice easy coral to keep, It also has the Name money coral due to the fast growth it has, a fraggers dream coral lol .
Going back 4 to 5 years ago it was a very expensive coral due to it not being available in the trade.I remember selling a 15 head Duncan for over 200.00 when they first came into the country

Stunning coral m8

hi m8,

Thanks for the information,appreciated :)
I also have a leather coral but it seems to be dying.. :0 its all shriveld and flopping over. Ive done in total a 50% water change nd checked my water chem and it all seems fine... whats happening??

After putting the corals in my nano, waiting for my 5ft one, my duncan doesnt seem to be doing so well. it hardly opens up but is doing better by the day... im just worried as ive seen it 100 x better.

hope your ok! and did jase get the glass??
cheers matt
