Im thinking of cleaning my sump out and give everything in there a good old clean. What would be the best way to do this? Should I take the water out the sump and save it or should I use new mixed water?

Any tips accepted

Cheers

Replied to your thread on UR :P

In case you missed it... "Just did mine yesterday Removed the algae, cleaned the glass, had a good rummage in the first inch of the DSB, removed the dirty water, then replaced with new salty goodness. Cleared within an hour or so after pumps back on"

It cant halm to do it along side a water change. try not to disturb your sandbed if you have one!

I deliberately disturb the sand bad (the first inch of it)... and would recommend you do the same. That is of course provided it's actually a DSB, and not a not-so-deep DSB :D
