The pearls, you would be better removing at least half of them, more if needed, and watch your nitrate level. If the nitrates come up a little to around 5 don't panic but wait and see if they continue to rise and if that's the case add a few more pearls until you reach a balance of a little nitrate to a certain amount of pearls, they need to be fluidizing 24/7 so its not possible to turn the reactor flow off for any amount of time, give jas a shout for the acro names,he may have luck looking through the order sheet, they are looking good m8.

I'm going to have to tweak and play, I'm thinking for the next few weeks to get a more natural level. With the idea on the exhaust of the pearls to my main skimmer, I'm toying with the idea of having a larger reactor ie. more robust and running it in line on the skimmer feed. Gravity fed but will make it safe with a bypass above the exit water level. This way I can get rid of the 2 pumps Running the current reactor. This will free up sump space and start reducing running costs, now my next goal.......!

I have always been a keen believer in duel redundancy but I am also considering scrapping the two return pumps idea and having one sequence pump> what do you think? yet again reducing running costs.

I have got all my LED lights now onto cycles which suit quite nicely. Here, the effect once the main lights have gone off, as it dims down for the night.

So a quick update I think.

Ok so a Few more corals have made there way into my tank and a few bits of LR have done the opposite. Big thanks to "Keatsy" for helping thin it out a little.

I have set up the new schuran reactor but still tweaking it a little to keep my alkalinity stable. Still trying to get Lynds from stealing it off me. Lol

Well on to a few pictures, my next purchase is going to be a camera that produces more life like photos.

Thanks mate, if I'm truly honest I've not seen a great deal as most of the corals where bought about that size. The corals I've had since Christmas time have grown quite bait though.

Here are a few more additions to the tank. Got them on Thursday and they have been out all day today rather than hugging the corals and have been feeding well.

Would like 4 Bartlets aswell think that will look awesome.

Lots of corals!
I do like anthia. My male is a bit of a poor specimen. Got him recently and so working on him.
How you getting on with your flow pumps? I've been looking at them but not sure.

Fish Are all looking great and feeding like pigs which is good.

I am just about to run out of co2 where is the cheapest place to source a decent bottle?
Has any body used a pub bottle before?

Need the extra cash for a gyractor!
