Hi guys, ive been given the go ahead for another tank :dance:, but it has to be a nano  lol, but first ive got to build our kitchen extencion :annoyed:.

Im just in the thinking part of this build at the min so this will be a long build (sorry) but will be pic heavy :D.

Now im not sure what size nano to go for but was thinking of going to the bigger limits of the nano size and also going braceless on this build.

I want a shallow tank as the one ive got now is 2ft heigh, so im thinking if an 18ins? What glass thickness will i need to make this braceless?

Any thoughts or advice is welcome :)

Thanks for looking

Good news Joey! Looking forward to seeing it. Not sure on glass thickness though. Mine is braceless with 12mm glass but mine is deeper than that.

Sounds cool,if going for 18ins you may get away with 10mm but would check this first, the way it normally works is the higer the tank the thicker the glass, all that said i would do a bit of research before you start.
